Jaw Cysts: A Retrospective Study in a Turkish Subpopulation

Objectives: Cysts seen in the jaws may be odontogenic or non-odontogenic, depending on tissue of origin. Although there are different methods to diagnose these lesions, histopathological examination biopsy lesion is accepted as 'gold standard' cases where diagnosis insufficient. insufficient.
 Materials and Methods: Pathology results 436 patients who applied Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty Dentistry, Oral Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic between 2016-2021 for any reason underwent were retrospectively scanned using digital archives.  Results: Of included study, 250 (57.3%) male 186 (42.7%) female. The ages ranged 7 82 years, mean age 35.5±15.8. As a result findings, it determined that most common cysts radicular (53.7%). Radicular commonly located posterior mandible anterior maxilla anatomically.
